Fashion as a powerful tool for positive change. That is what we stand for.
Artbeat The Label was born from a simple but powerful conviction: fashion does not have to come at the expense of the planet or of people. In a world dominated by fast fashion, we wanted to do something different.
We believe every garment deserves a story, and that art is the most powerful story you can wear.
"Fashion not just stylish, but a powerful tool for positive change."
Based in Nijmegen, we collaborate with emerging artists to transform second-hand jackets into unique works of art. Every piece is handmade, every piece is one of a kind. One piece, one chance.
Our goal is to combat waste within the fashion industry. By reusing materials and giving second-hand clothing a new life, we offer a sustainable alternative.
We offer (young) artists a platform to present their work. Each jacket is transformed into a wearable artwork with a message.
Every piece is handmade. In collaboration with talented (young) artists. No mass production, no compromises on quality. Every detail is worked out with care and passion.
We are building a collective of conscious consumers, creative makers and sustainable thinkers. Together we stand for a sustainable alternative.

I founded Artbeat out of a clear conviction: creative people deserve a place where they come together, build and strengthen each other. As someone who loves designing jackets, I was looking for a way to connect that feeling of making something truly unique to something bigger. Artbeat The Label became the place where those two things meet — a network for creators, with wearable art as the result.

I grew up in Nijmegen with a conviction that has never left me: if you pay serious money for something, it should be worth it. Mass production with a big brand label was never my thing. Over the years, that feeling was reinforced by something impossible to ignore: how polluting the fashion industry truly is, and the role the consumer plays through overconsumption. Giving second-hand clothing a new life seemed the logical response. And because I look with genuine admiration at people who can paint and draw — something I cannot — the idea arose to bring young artists along. Artbeat The Label became the place where sustainability and giving others a platform come together.
